We are led by Dr. John Rezapour, MD, who, over the course of his 40-year professional career, has established himself as one of the region’s leading cornea specialists. Beginning his medical career in Iran, Dr. Rezapour has spent the past 25 years developing his Los Angeles area practice, and expanding it to encompass a wide spectrum of ophthalmological treatments, procedures and services.
In 2013, Dr. Rezapour established Advanced Eye Surgery Clinic, specializing in Corneal Surgery and Transplant, Cataract Evaluation and Surgical Treatment, Laser Vision Correction (LASIK/PRK), and Glaucoma Evaluation and Treatment. Since day one, our practice has been committed to providing you with a superior level of eye health care in a state-of-the-art facility offering a friendly, personalized environment.

Dr. John Rezapour, MD
Dr. Rezapour received his M.D. from the Tehran University School of Medicine, and his specialty in Cornea Surgery and Transplant from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles. He is dedicated to helping patients improve and maintain their eye health and vision through comprehensive services that include thorough eye exams, cataract surgery, corneal diseases treatments, corneal transplant, refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK) and oculoplastic surgery.
Nariman Nassiri, MD MPH
Dr. Nariman Nassiri is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. He offers comprehensive adult eye care, cataract surgery, glaucoma consultations, as well as laser and surgical management of glaucoma, including minimally invasive procedures. With a strong academic background, Dr. Nassiri has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, presented at national and international ophthalmology meetings, and collaborates with UCLA’s Bioengineering Department for innovative treatment development. Committed to global and local impact, he actively serves underserved populations through the UCLA Mobile Eye Clinic and participates in medical mission trips, reflecting his dedication to community service.
